About Bonnie

Professional Experience: Includes residential design, consulting, sales, marketing, and real estate services along with being active in the community as a "Senior" advocate.

Bonnie’s zest for life is apparent from the moment you meet her. She is always ready to dive into any conversation and her infectious laughter makes you feel as if you’ve known her forever. While maintaining a positive attitude and a sense of humor Bonnie’s strong sense of integrity is evident in her effort to find balance in both her personal and business life.

Bonnie grew up on the Southside of Madison, Wisconsin and has Midwestern-wholesomeness to the very core.  As the middle child in a large tight-knit family, Bonnie learned very young the importance of looking out for each other and helping others in need. Bonnie left home after high school and traveled to the west coast for college.

Professionally Bonnie also enjoyed unique successes. After seeing the challenges many seniors and people with special needs face daily, she formed a business
in California called “Enough is Enough”, where she acted as a consumer advocate representing the needs of these all-too-often neglected groups of individuals.

In 1992 the Midwestern lifestyle called Bonnie, now
a single parent raising her two daughters, back to the Madison area.

Upon returning to Wisconsin, Bonnie joined the First Realty Group as a real-estate realtor where Bonnie again found a void of services for seniors and those physically challenged.

In 1996 Bonnie continued to advocate for seniors and started a custom residential moving management company known as Transitions,Inc.®. Recognizing that seniors often must make their first and possibly their last move of there lives at a time when they are most vulnerable, Bonnie strives to make this difficult transition easier for everyone involved. The first of its kind in the country. Transitions, Inc.® proudly celebrates their tenth year in business.

With 76 million baby boomers and their families expecting to reach retirement age by 2011 Bonnie, continuing to maintain the utmost integrity through her passion of helping others achieve balance, is franchising Transitions, Inc.® starting here in Dane County and throughout Wisconsin this year. Bonnie feels her mission is to build a successful franchise system that will focus on the environment and the community. She will do this by taking her experience as a personalized moving coordinator providing a piece of mind to clients by creating a system that can be implemented through the franchisees while living up to the high standards the company has been founded on providing satisfaction and well being for
a balance lifestyle. (www.transitionease.com)

Among her other endeavors, Bonnie also has a passion for cooking and has created an “All natural” spice rub preservative free and low salt called “Bonne Verona” which is sold locally in the Madison area and available online at: (www.bonneverona.com)

Family: Active mother of two daughters, Brooke & Katie.

Background: Bonnie has over 35 years of business and real estate experience involving personal, family, and corporate moves, both nationally and internationally. She has developed a moving system which has proven to be both time and cost effective. Bonnie is very passionate about sharing how Transitions, Inc. was created out of a heartfelt concern for providing desperately needed services at a difficult decision-making time in peoples lives.

Favorite Activities: Bonnie enjoys many outdoor activities including tennis, golf, sailing and private flying. Has a great love for good music and live teater. Along with family and staff members, Bonnie enjoys volunteering with the local chapter of "Meals on Wheels" for seniors.
